IIMC President Mary Johnston, MMC will pass on the gavel next month at the 75th Annual IIMC Conference. Join us for updates, conversation, a cup of coffee and a "thank you" to President Mary for a wonderful year on Tuesday, April 27, 12:00 Noon ET.
On May 20, 2020, President Mary was the first IIMC president to be virtually sworn in. The cancellation of the 74th Annual IIMC Conference left lost opportunities for her to speak informally with IIMC Members at the coffee urn, between sessions and at special events.
In response to an unusual, unprecedented challenge of connecting with IIMC Members, President Mary and IIMC created the Coffee With President Mary series which continues through President Mary's tenure and what continues to be a year of historical challenges.

75th Annual IIMC Conference Preparation Continues |
|
To date, 76% of confirmed delegates have submitted their conference agenda selections. If you are registered for the conference but have not yet completed your conference agenda and need help, please contact Karen Lee at [email protected]. The deadline for submission is Friday, April 16, 11:59 PM PT. Delegates who do not submit their form will be assigned concurrent education sessions at IIMC staff discretion.
IIMC is closely following the social distancing and limited room capacity guidelines set forth by the city of Grand Rapids, the state of Michigan and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure the health and safety of all registered attendees, IIMC staff and venue personnel.

IIMC is Accepting Requests For Proposals For Its 2026 Annual Conference |
IIMC is calling for Requests For Proposals from convention bureaus in your area that would like the opportunity to bid to secure the right to host the 80th IIMC Annual Conference in May 2026. IIMC respectfully asks that you indicate your interest in undertaking this project by downloading and completing the RFP application.
The deadline for submissions to IIMC headquarters is Monday, June 7.

IIMC staff continues to work daily, ascertaining that we are meeting our members' needs and ensuring there is continuity within the Organization. Staff continues to work full-time via a staggered schedule, splitting its time in the office and remotely as we slowly maneuver our way into having everyone safely back at headquarters. The timetable to return staff safely to a full office schedule is still in flux. Staff's safety and continuous service to our members are paramount. As of this E-Briefing, staff will continue to operate using a staggered schedule until it's safe to return everyone to work.
The Education Department has been working with Institutes and IIMC affiliated online companies to produce webinars and to provide complimentary and discounted online courses. The certification application and review process remain at two to three-weeks. Members who have certification points on file may still schedule appointments in available time slots to discuss reviewed certification applications and points received.
The Membership Department continues to be at your service via email or phone calls.
