What is PNO? Parents' Night Out is a program that many churches, schools, and community centers embrace as a way to serve parents and families in their area. It offers a safe place for children to be cared for while giving their parents a chance to gather with other adults, go out on a date, or even get the grocery shopping done.
Here at Augusta Road Baptist, we hope to offer this event three times per year. This is just one way in which we strive to help our families feel loved and supported by our church family. In the past year, some of the parents have even used this time to gather in community with others from our church. The children are able to come together and build relationships too while playing together amidst the excitement of staying up past bedtime, which they love.
As a volunteer, you have the chance to get to know the littlest in our congregation who will give you smiles, hugs, and bring joy to your life. This is one of those volunteer opportunities where you truly get more out of the service than you are giving!
We hope to have Parents' Night Out on the following dates: November 9th, Jan. 18th, and May 17th from 6:00-9:00 pm.
If you are interested in serving on Friday, November 9, please let us know!
