Mum Sale Proceeds Blossom into Assistance for Marquette Service, Retreat Programs
Coupled with the Bishop's Match, Mum Sale Profits Generated $8,400 for Retreat Budget
Marquette Catholic High School wishes to thank all those who participated in the President's Fall Mum Sale this past month.

Profits from the sale reached $4,200, which was then doubled courtesy of Most Reverend Bishop Donald J. Hying's Match Program. The $8,400 generated accounts for more than half of Marquette's current budgeted line item for retreats.

"These monies will go directly towards supporting Marquette's retreat and service programs. The funds allow an opportunity for all our students at Marquette to experience something greater than themselves and ultimately cling to a purpose in life that brings hope and meaning to their world," president James White said.

All three high schools within the Diocese of Gary are currently on a three-day retreat at Lourdes Global Education Center in Chicago.
