MES Veteran's Day Program Monday

What a great week it's been at Malakoff Elementary. Students and teachers are fired up for learning! Kindergarten took a field trip to the Science Place in Tyler, and they had a blast!

I want to thank everyone for the support in the changes taking place concerning visitors on campus. Please remember to bring photo identification when visiting Malakoff Elementary. No one will receive a visitor's badge unless they have picture identification. Also, we ask anyone visiting the campus to only go to the area designated for their visit. We have been having some issues with parents peeking in classrooms and speaking with teachers during instructional times. If you wish to talk to your child's teacher, please call and schedule a conference. Our priority is to ensure the safety of all of our students and staff.

Everyone is invited to attend the annual Veterans Day Program at Malakoff Elementary on Monday at 9 am in the gym.

MES Visitor Entry Procedure Change

To Whom It May Concern:

Beginning on Monday, November 4, 2019, the procedure to enter the Malakoff Elementary campus will change. All visitors that intend on entering the campus will be required to exchange their photo identification for an MES Visitor Badge. No visitor will be allowed past the office unless they have a MES Visitor Badge. When a visitor has completed their visit on campus, they will come to the front desk and exchange their visitors badge for their picture identification before leaving campus. We hope all parents/guardians will support this change. This security measure is to ensure that all persons on campus have gone through the procedure of properly identifying themselves and have properly checked in. Please help us in ensuring the safety of all students and staff at Malakoff Elementary.

Sincerely,

Chris Robinson
