“For technologies being advanced by the Institute, Forward BIOLABS’ life science laboratories not only provide facilities for early stage companies to operate efficiently, but a supportive environment for the next generation of Madison’s innovators.”
- Jessica Martin Eckerly
Martin Eckerly, the CEO and co-founder of the BIOLABS continues, “The partnership that has been established between the Forward BIO Institute and Forward BIOLABS speaks to our commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and enabling the transition of innovative technologies out of the discovery phase and into the private sector.”
Established as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Forward BIOLABS currently houses eight start-ups at various stages of growth and continues to add member companies. Offering occupancy on a month-to-month basis, member companies can initiate critical proof-of-concept work, create prototypes, and advance early stage projects in an affordable manner and within a flexible, supportive setting.
