Headmaster Letter

Dear North Phoenix Prep Families,

Hosting professors from around the nation has become something of a tradition at our Academy. Each time we do so, our guests leave impressed with the same appreciation for our faculty and students that I have. What a joy to share our vision with these ambassadors of higher education!
On this Thursday, North Phoenix Prep is pleased to host Dr. Joseph Wysocki, who is visiting our campus to learn more about our classical liberal arts curriculum, as well as the Socratic teaching techniques that our faculty use to provide a truly transformative education for our students.
Dr. Wysocki is Assistant Vice Provost and Director of the Honors College at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina. He has also served as Director of Thomas More Scholarship, Chair, and Associate Professor of Government and Political Science.  Dr. Wysocki earned his Ph.D. in Political Science at Baylor University.  Prior to Baylor, Dr. Wysocki earned a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Belmont Abbey College.
Welcome to North Phoenix Prep, Dr. Wysocki!

With Devotion,

Headmaster Weinhold

NPX PSO announces Greatful Hearts

It has been a long-standing Great Hearts' tradition to give a collective thank you gift to our teachers around the holiday season. In previous years, this campaign was called Snow Storm and ran November through December. We have chosen to improve upon our endeavors to give generously to our teachers and to pair it with the fall season. Fall is already a season rich in the tradition of giving thanks and expressing gratitude. The shift for collecting donations from December to November will allow families to focus on this campaign before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins. This holiday gift-giving opportunity provides a chance for parents and students to shower our amazing faculty with appreciation and love collectively and at one special time. In lieu of holiday gifts for faculty and staff, we invite all North Phoenix families to participate in this annual holiday giving campaign. Show your heartfelt appreciation by contributing a one-time monetary gift to be distributed evenly among faculty and staff at our Teacher Appreciation Luncheon in December. Last year, our community was able to gift over two hundred dollars to all full-time faculty members!

The Greatful Hearts campaign will run from November 5 th – November 30 th

Drop-off and Dismissal

Drop-Off:   Please keep in mind that NO SUPERVISION is provided
prior to 7:30 for students with Archway siblings and 7:45 for Prep Students . An increasing number of students are gathering outside the Archway MPR doors prior to 7:30 and/or the Prep academic building prior to 7:45. Please keep your children with you until the correct drop off time.

Pick up : Prep families- please do not arrive on campus prior to 3:25. Arriving early impedes the flow of traffic for Archway dismissal. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Another way to help with Drop-Off and Dismissal is to use the carpool option, sponsored by PSO. North Phoenix families can register online for private access to an interactive map that enables you to locate and contact others in the carpool family.
