Associated Students' annual Quad Haunt event will return Oct. 31 and brings together the campus community to celebrate the spookiest day of all. This year's Quad Haunt will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature costume contests, a pumpkin pie eating contest, club booth contest, and a pumpkin judging contest.

Coffee with the Chancellor: 10/30
The college community is invited to Coffee with the Chancellor at Fullerton College on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m. in Building 200, Rooms 224-228. The coffee is an informal and open discussion where guests may ask questions or just listen to the conversation. Chancellor Cheryl Marshall will also have an open office hour on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. in Building 100.
Donate to the Veterans Care Package Drive
The Veterans Resource Center is calling on the Fullerton College campus and community to donate items for troops deployed overseas. Personal items, non-perishable foods, entertainment, clothing, and miscellaneous items may be dropped off at the VRC in Building 500, Room 518 through November 16.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
The Fullerton College Ethnic Studies Department, M.E.C.H.A, and other student clubs have placed empty boxes around campus for the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Boxes will be available until Nov. 16 for donations of canned goods and non-perishable food items. Grocery store gift cards, and monetary donations can be made by contacting Ethnic Studies Department chair Amber Gonzalez at
[email protected]. Items collected will be used to support Fullerton College families at Thanksgiving and the Fullerton College Food Bank.

Volunteers Needed for Veterans Day
Field of Heroes Memorial
The Veterans Resource Center is looking for volunteers to help with the Field of Heroes Veterans Day Memorial. The memorial honors fallen service members since Sept. 11, 2001 with flags placed on the quad. The quad will be transformed into a field of close to 7,000 flags.

Fullerton College CTE Articulation Day
On Oct. 17, Fullerton College held its annual Articulation Day. This program allows high school and ROP students to complete courses at their own institutions and receive college credit once they attend Fullerton College. Representatives from Brea Olinda High School, Orange County Department of Education, North Orange County ROP and Central Orange County Career Technical Education Partnership met with faculty from the Business & CIS and Technology and Engineering divisions. During the meeting, hosted by Professor Gabriella Fernandez, annual agreements were signed, new courses were discussed and new participants had a chance to meet and greet their counterparts from around the county.

The Student Support Services Division is creating a resource guide for students who need connection to programs and services on and off campus that are designed to address a variety of needs such as food insecurity, housing, and mental health support. Adopt an Angel Holiday Program Starts 11/2
The planning has begun for the annual Fullerton College EOPS/CARE & CalWORKs & FYSI "Adopt An Angel" holiday event. Beginning Nov. 5 the CARE/FYSI Office in Room 2002 will have adoption forms and ornaments with children to adopt this holiday season. The event supports parents and children in the program. Pluralism, Inclusion and Equity Series -Reducing Bias in the Workplace: 10/29
This workshop examines the purpose of our biases, how we can identify bias when it is occurring in the workplace, and strategies for contributing to a more equitable working environment. Football
In a Central Division game on Saturday, the Hornets hosted San Diego Mesa College and lit up the scoreboard for a 45-14 win over the Olympians. The win marks the 27th consecutive victory dating back to 2016. FC is only one short of tying the school record for most consecutive wins set during the 1966-1968 season. Up Next: The Hornets (8-0 overall, 3-0 conference) will play at El Camino College on Saturday, Nov. 3 for another Central Division matchup at 1 p.m.
Women's Soccer
In an Orange Empire Conference matchup, the Hornets played host to Cypress College on Tuesday and took it to the Chargers 3-0. Up Next: The Hornets (11-3-2 overall, 8-2-2 OEC) will resume conference-play on Tuesday, Oct. 30 when they play at Norco College at 3 p.m.
Men's Soccer
Fullerton showed why they are the No.1 team in the Orange Empire Conference by hammering Cypress College on the road Tuesday 5-0. Up Next: The Hornets (13-2-2 overall, 8-1-2 OEC) will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 30 when they host Norco College at 3 p.m.
Water Polo
The men and women's teams will host the Orange Empire Conference Championships at the FC pool November 1-3.
Women's Golf
Round one of the Orange Empire Conference Championships wrapped up at Los Serranos on Wednesday with the Hornets tying for second place. Fullerton and Mount San Antonio tied for second with a team score of 374. FC's Eunsoo Jeon and Saddleback's Brittney Do both finished in second with a score of 78. For the Hornets, Natalie Widjaja shot 93, Shelby Hahn shot 96, and Angela James shot 107. Up Next: The Hornets will play in the second round of the OEC Championships at Los Serranos on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m.
Cross Country
Both the men and women's teams placed 5th at the Orange Empire Conference Championships held last Friday at Riverside City College. Up Next: The Hornets qualify for the SoCal Regionals that will take place at Don Knabe Park (Cerritos Regional) this Friday, Oct. 2. Race times are at 10 a.m. (women) and 11 a.m. (men).

The Hornets will open up their season this Friday, Nov 2 when they host El Camino College in the Hornets Nest at 5 p.m.

Luz: Exploring Light
Runs Through Nov. 28
Luz examines the transformative power of light through the lenses of mythology, technology, society, and science, and features the work of Alison Kudlow, Amor Muñoz, and Christine Nguyen, among others.

The Fullerton College Faculty Dance Concert will showcase the talents of faculty choreographers, as well as, select student choreographers. The concert will feature various genres of dance, including modern, ballet, contemporary, Afro-modern, Latin jazz, hip hop and Broadway.
Friday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m., Wilshire Auditorium
The Fullerton College Concert Choir is a large auditioned ensemble with both a regional and national reputation. The choir usually consists of about 85 members who perform classical repertoire that spans across all musical styles and time periods.
