LACUE Region 5 TnT Conference
Region 5 held its annual conference on Saturday, September 21 st . The TnT (Teaching aNd Technology) Conference saw 500 educators gather at SJ Welsh Middle School for a day of invigorating sessions, opportunities for networking, discovering new technologies exhibited in the vendor area, participating in a conference wide scavenger hunt and opportunities to win some fabulous door prizes. Participants were able to select from 60 sessions that covered topics including Flipgrid, Microsoft 365, iPads in the Classroom, Minecraft and so much more. Participants were represented from all districts in Region 5 which included Allen, Jeff Davis, Beauregard, Cameron, and Calcasieu. We would especially like to thank board members, Dustin Hebert and Susan Gauthier, for not only attending the conference but also presenting at our conference. Dustin Hebert presented a session entitled “Get ‘Em Engaged 2.0” and Susan Gauthier presented a session entitled, “Don’t Get Faked Out by the News”.  Click here for the video.
