A Message from our Parish Pastor, Father Phil
Dear Parishioners:
A few weeks ago, as part of my homily I recommended a little book by Mark Twain entitled The War Prayer to you. The following Sunday, one of the greeters at SJB, Sue Zignego, came up to me before Mass and thanked me for telling her about The War Prayer the previous week, handing me a nicely wrapped little package as she did so. I put the package in the sacristy and proceeded on with Mass. After Mass, I took the un-opened package and went to my office to do some work. I was just wrapping things up and preparing to leave when my eyes fell on the package sitting on the edge of my desk. I decided to open it.

From the School Principal, Mrs. Amy Nelson
Many of the teachers and support staff have already been in their classrooms preparing for the upcoming school year. Though this year will include many new “normals,” we look forward to seeing the students this fall, and in educating the whole child, mind, body and spirit. We certainly appreciate the continued support we receive from our families, from this parish, and from the greater community.
Last week’s e-bulletin shared a link to our reopening plans. It is our plan to begin school on-site, 5 days a week, with many precautionary measures in place, including enhanced sanitation of the building. However, families do have the choice of a choosing a virtual learning option. Whether our families choose to start the year on-site or virtually, we are committed to providing all of our students with a quality faith-centered education. If interested in joining the St. John the Baptist School family, please contact the school office at (920)893-5961 to schedule a personal tour.
