Take the time to assess, recognize, and celebrate your firm's dedication to supporting the future of the profession with the AIA Pennsylvania EPiC (Emerging Professionals Community) Firm Recognition.*
An Emerging Professional from your firm must initiate the process by completing a nomination assessment to be considered for the recognition by Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
AIA Pennsylvania will then reach out to the Emerging Professional's designated Firm Principal or Leader to fill out the form no later than Thursday, September 3rd.
Firms honored with the EPiC Firm Recognition will be celebrated in the 2020 AIA Pennsylvania Architectural Excellence Design Awards Broadcast on Thursday, November 19, 2020.
*Please note that if you've applied in the past, the EPiC Firm designation is valid for one year, after which reapplication is required for continued designation. Established in 2015, the AIA Pennsylvania Emerging Professionals (EPiC) ARE Grant is dedicated to the remembrance of Paula Maynes, AIA.
She inspired us with a legacy of mentorship, service to the profession, a stellar work ethic and a unique calm, collaborative nature. These ARE the qualities that embodied Paula and are what we seek to develop in ARE grant recipients.
This year, AIA Pennsylvania will be awarding up to three (3) architecture graduates with a grant to cover the cost of three (3) divisions of the ARE!
Paula Maynes, AIA AWARD
The cost of three (3) divisions (valued at $705) of the 6 part ARE exam, will be awarded to up to three (3) eligible candidates. Upon notification of award, recipients will be set up to have three seat credits applied to their NCARB record. ELIGIBILITY

Interested in joining AIA Pennsylvania as an Associate Member? Associate membership is open to individuals who have a professional degree in architecture, work under the supervision of an architect, are enrolled in AXP, or are a faculty member in a university program in architecture. Applications will be reviewed by the AIA Pennsylvania Emerging Professionals Committee (EPiC), and winners will be presented to the AIA Pennsylvania Board of Directors for approval.* Applicants should demonstrate one or more of the following:

The submission deadline is 11:59 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2020. Please submit your application and upload your documentation via the form tab below. Recipients will be notified and announced in October.
