What Else to Know
  • The SSAT can be taken up to eight times during the application school year.
    • A student is also able to take ONE Flex Test per application year.
  • We offer the Flex Test at our office in a small group (four children or fewer) setting or on an individual basis.
    • In general, we usually suggest that a student consider sitting for the standard
SSAT in October or November and then, if necessary, take the SSAT Flex Test.
  • Individual ability and academic assessment tests can be given in conjunction with SSAT.
    • If a child doesn't usually do well on standardized tests or if parents are interested in learning more about their child's learning style and abilities, the WISC and WIAT are a great option.
    • There are other ability and achievement assessments that parents can choose to use as well.
