Can You Help?
Voter Engagement

TAE is proud to be encouraging all congregants to register to vote, to learn about candidates and issues and to vote! We have a non- partisan committee who is reaching out to congregants to help them register and get to the polls. If you are interested in helping with this committee, please contact Penny Greenblatt at socialaction@adatelohim.com
Homeless / Community Meals
TAE is proud to participate with other faith communities in the Conejo Valley to ensure that a hot meal and sack lunch is available to those in need throughout the year. TAE provides the meal on the 4th Wednesday of each month (April - November) at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Westlake Village. You can drop of your portion of the meal or stay and serve. Please contact the shelter committee at taeshelter@yahoo.com  for more information and to sign up to bring a meal.
Caring Community of TAE needs your help!

Our Caring Community is dedicated to reaching out to those in our TAE community who are in need.

Do you have some time to make a few phone calls to people who are in need to let them know that their TAE family is thinking of them? Do you have time to visit people who are in need of some company while they are ill? If you can help, please contact Cantor David at dshukiar@adatelohim.com (805) 497-7101. Please also contact Cantor David if you know someone in need.
What We've Been Doing
School Supplies Collection - A HUGE Success!

Thank you so much!!! TAE and the interfaith community collected school supplies to fill 250 backpacks which were distributed to local elementary and middle school children by Lutheran Social Services. How wonderful it is that each of these children arrived on the first day of classes with all the supplies that they need for a successful year.

Conejo Valley Interfaith Refugee Welcome Team Pot Luck

Over 130 members of the Conejo Valley gathered to share dinner and learn about the efforts of the Refugee Team. These efforts have helped support refugees who have been granted asylum by the U.S. government. Speakers provided an update on the status of the refugee program and a first hand experience of being a refugee from an Afghanistan. She sought asylum in the U.S. after having her life and that of her children repeatedly threatened because of her work with US affiliated organizations in her home country. The refugee team is always looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks to assist recent arrivals. Contact socialaction@adatelohim.com to learn more.

Social Action Opportunities for Families & Adult

This monthly Social Action e-newsletter is sent from the Social Action committee at the beginning of each month. It includes upcoming social action opportunities that are available to the TAE community. We invite all TAE members to find your place in TAE Social Action. We hope that you will find a project (or many!) that touches your heart. We encourage you to participate and bring your temple friends with you! There is something for everyone.

If you have charities or projects that you support, please share them with us at socialaction@adatelohim.com . We might be able to involve others in a project that is important to you!
