What We Need Most
One meal makes a difference! He came in for a meal…He left with a new life... Every day they come to the Mission with ragged clothes and a heavy heart. They are often bent over, not only from physical ailments, but from carrying the weight of the world. Then a small miracle happens! When they get to sit down and have a meal. Not only does this meal fill their stomachs, but more importantly, their hearts! Their hearts are filled once again with that amazing thing called hope. Can one meal make this difference? You bet it can! Find out how you can help: Call Terry for details at 610-740-5500 ext. 328 or email Food@armpa.org
Lives Changed
James has struggled with addiction and chronic homelessness for several years. Often the two go hand in hand. His first experience with the Allentown Rescue Mission was January 2019. He had been living in a motel, but he ran out of money then he found his way to us. It was a difficult adjustment, and he wasn’t sure he would be able to make it.
