From Rev. Christen's Desk
Dear Epiphany Parish:

Thank you all so much for the prayers and support over the past week since Dan's father died. It's really meant a lot to both of us.

This Sunday, I read a blog post by Pastor John Pavlovitz that he published on his blog, "Stuff That Needs To Be Said", on February 21, 2019. A few people have asked for the link to the post, so I am including it here:
https://johnpavlovitz.com/2019/02/21/everyone-around-you-is-grieving-go-easy/

If you were not able to be in church this past Sunday, I encourage you to read his blog post. It's a good reminder that we never know the pain/grief/loss/worry/fear/etc. that the people around us are dealing with and to always do our best to be kind to others.

Peace in Christ,
Rev. Christen

We are in the home stretch at the Pumpkin Patch!

Sunday School News

Having lots of fun in Sunday School!  This week we will talk a bit about All Saints' Day.

And don't forget - the older class is collecting money for Heifer Project.  This is a wonderful program where, for very little money, the kids can purchase a goat or a cow or a flock of chickens or a "share" of one of these if we do not collect enough for a whole animal.  Parents: Please remember to give a dollar or some change to your Sunday Schoolers, so we can increase the total we have to spend.  The older class will keep track of how much money is collected, and can discuss the options of where to spend it.  Please help us out, with this outreach project!

We are looking f orward to seeing everyone on Sunday...
Don't Forget!  Please be sure to arrive by 9:45.
We have a Junior Church service that will begin
promptly at 9:45.
