Reflections with Fr. Mark
Trust is a difficult attribute to keep when so often we have encountered people along the journey who cause us to lose trust.  Relationships are shattered because of one act or reason to no longer have trust. Even scripture speaks of friends being far and few and as the pearl of great price to hold on to.

Do you have trouble trusting?  It is okay, so do I!  I have a small circle of friends and many more acquaintances simply because once trust is lost it is difficult to allow that exiled person back into the circle of friendship.

There is a myriad of reasons why we lose trust in relationships, institutions and governments.  We feel abandoned and betrayed. So, let us place our trust in the Lord today; and maybe he can help us with our other relationships, too!

Spiritual Reflection: “Blessed the one who trusts in the Lord.”

Blessings of love,

Fr. Mark
