Partnering With SCAD To Offer V.R. Experiences
How fortunate are we to have SCAD Professor of Immersive Reality, Teri Yarbrow as a Hospice Savannah volunteer? A self-proclaimed Virtual Reality 'Evangelist', Teri teaches a class called V.R. for Good where students create V.R. experiences for our patients.

Teri would like to build a whole 'pharmacy' of V.R. offerings to help manage pain and anxiety and to provide "bucket-list" trips. Read more in this recent explanatory article from Hospice News.

Grief During The Time Of COVID
Betsy Kammerud, our skilled and compassionate Full Circle Grief and Loss manager, recently collaborated with Amy Paige Condon, editor of the Savannah Morning News' Beacon project. Listen to the July 24 edition of The Commute podcast as they discuss how we cope with bereavement while also processing the additional losses and stresses brought on by the pandemic.
