Pace of Play Tips
Here are checkpoints to determine if you are out of position and lagging behind where you should be:
On a Par 3 - If the group ahead is walking off the tee on the next hole, you are out of position.
On a Par 4 - I f you are on the tee and the group in front of you is off the green, you are out of position.
On a Par 5 - If you are on the tee and the group in front of you is on the green, you are out of position.

They're Heading to Nationals!  
Congratulations to Beth Rubin (1 st Flight) and the Scramble Team of Kristi Peterson, Pat Hegenbarth, Tammy Smith-Foyt, and Alicia Barber for their big wins at Semi-finals in Lake Geneva on Aug 25. They will now move on to compete in the LPGA-AGA National Finals in October at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, FL. Great playing ladies. Good Luck!

Congratulations also goes to those who placed in their flights: Jackie Santopietro, Missy Pickar, Angie Christo, Janette Schull, Anita Nelson and Ann Borders. (the rest of us just had fun.)

Join us on Ryder Cup weekend for a fun afternoon of golf. We have four tee times beginning at noon. We may have an optional get together in the grill before or after for some Ryder Cup viewing (depending on the broadcast schedule).

Troy Burne is a fun but challenging course and this outing is for intermediate and advanced golfers.

2019 KPMG Women's PGA Championship Volunteers Still Needed
June 18 - 23, 2019 at Hazeltine National Golf Club
We are still looking for members to volunteer to marshal Hole No. 16 at the championship. This is a par 4 and we are the only group on the hole!  Some of the details:
  • The marshal slots are available only to Chapter members in good standing.
  • We have a total of 23 slots for marshals and the number per shift will vary (we will need to cover all days at some level)
  • The fee is $120.00 and volunteers are expected to work 4 shifts (approximately 4 hours each)
  • All volunteers will get a uniform (golf shirt, headwear, jacket), credential with grounds access for the week, complimentary parking and meal/water vouchers
