Monday:  Kick off Reading Drill = Drop Everything and Read

Reading Drill Monday is almost like fire drills.  The difference is that we don't go to our designated outdoor setting. In this case, the participating classes will drop whatever it is they are doing and engage in silent reading for 10-20 minutes. I will be reading my favorite book in the library or in a classroom.

Tuesday:   Decorate a bookmark during both lunches.
Color Theme: White
Students can pick up a blank bookmark that they can decorate.

Wednesday: Book Characters Come to Life
Students can dress up a s their favorite book character. The last period of the day students who have dressed up will join me for raffle prizes
Thursday:   Libros on the Lawn
Color Theme: Green
Readers will have a breath of fresh air .  Classes who participate can read outside of their classrooms throughout the day on the grass or lunch benches.  If your class will participate bring a blanket or towel to sit on.

Friday:   MyOn Challenge winners will be announced.
Color Theme: Red/ RMS Spirit DAY.
