All returned materials are quarantined for at least 24 hours, so you may see items remain on your card. No worries! Late fees will be waived through September 13th statewide.

You may now place up to 15 holds in the Ocean State Libraries catalog.

Weaver Library
welcomes you back!

Hours are: Mondays - Thursdays, 9am-5pm with a special hour, 9am-10am for those in at-risk groups (e.g., older than 65, diabetic).
 
If you feel unwell or have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 such as coughing, please visit another day.
 
Please limit your stay to no more than 30 min. You will notice that we have removed our chairs to keep you on the move.

Wear a face covering and please wear it properly.
 
Please respect physical distancing in the library and on the library grounds.
 
The Children’s Room and Teen Room at Weaver Library remain closed but we have set up browsing spaces for each collection and staff members can retrieve materials for you.

Call 401-434-2453 Monday - Thursday, 9am-5pm, to schedule a one hour appointment. Choose between a 10:00am, 12:00pm, or 3:00pm session and sessions are currently limited to one per week.

Children ages 4-8 will practice their engineering skills during a bridge building activity. Free kits for use during this virtual event will be available for pickup at Weaver Library.
