Come take a step back into Waynesboro's history! Talk with Civil War soldiers from both armies, experience the sights, sounds and aromas of camp life from a bygone era, witness the thrill of charging cavalry, thundering artillery and the determination of the infantry as they battle. Participate in an 1860s baseball game and Civil War Dance Social!
We're itchin' to give away more than $2,000 in prize money for the best in our Peoples' Choice cook-off. Chili tasting runs from 4 PM until it's gone! Mix chili with a large helping of amazing music, including Anthony Rosano and the Conqueroos, Sun Dried Opossum, The Bone Baby Gators, and Kiz Carter and Juke Jackson and top it off with an assortment of carefully selected micro and mega brews. Whether it's a local brew or an American classic, you'll understand why we include "Brews" in the name.
Coyner Springs Kite Fly is fun for the young and young at heart! Bring your kites and come have a blast flying with other kite lovers. No kite? No worries! We will be giving away some kites! Grab your spot and watch as all sorts of kites fill the sky. Some kiting clubs will be there to show off their moves with stunt and ballet kites and single and multi-line kites. Bring your blanket and chairs--there will be plenty to see and do!
