SHREVEPORT, LA, DECEMBER 17, 2019  - On   Saturday, January 11   , the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra (SSO) and Windborne Music pay tribute to the timeless genius of Freddie Mercury and his bandmates. Songs to be performed are from Queen's A Night at the Opera, News of the World, and A King of Magic, and will include Bohemian Rhapsody.

Premiering in 2009, Windborne's Classic Rock Symphony show "The Music of Queen" has quickly garnered critical and fan acclaim.  Lots of vocals, lots of harmonic structure and a perfect group to be accompanied by an orchestra. High energy, fun music, and the familiarity of the songs make the show a fun one both to play and to see. Vegas veteran Brody Dolyniuk handles the complex and difficult task of representing Freddie Mercury's vocals. Dolyniuk handles the assignment comfortably and sounds amazing leading the band and orchestra through the selected song list.  As with all of Windborne's shows, the band stays as close to the original as possible while the orchestra soars through the tunes and adds that extra "something" that make Windborne's shows special.
