Early Dismissal & Spirit Night at Chick- fil- a tomorrow, March 24
Tomorrow is early dismissal for the monthly faculty meeting. Early dismissal times are: PreK/K at 2:15, 1st-5th at 2:30, Middle at 2:45. Students are allowed to wear blue jeans and spirit shirts (remember, tomorrow is Casual Picture Day).
Virtual Grandparents and Special Friends Day
Grandparents and Special Friends Day is going virtual! Please remember to share our Grandparents and Special Friends Video on April 1.
7th Grade Rice Bowl Project
7th grade is sponsoring the Rice Bowl project for Catholic Relief Services. This project helps children in need around the world. All StJPII students are asked to bring a donation for the Rice Bowl in their classroom. The collection ends on Apri 1.
Social and Emotional Wellness Conversations for 3rd-8th Grade Students and Parents

Tuition Raffle: Coming Soon
The StJPII tuition raffle is coming after Spring Break so mark your calendars! This will be your chance to win FREE StJPII TUITION for your oldest child for the 2021-2022 school year! All raffle proceeds benefit St. John Paul II Catholic School. It’s easy to participate! Tickets will be sent home in Tuesday folders on March 30, and the winner will be announced on April 16. Stay tuned to Saints Weekly in the coming weeks for more information.

Your tuition invoices for school year 2021-22 were sent home in your youngest student's folder. Please remember that Tuition is due on Friday, April 30, 2021. If you need a tuition invoice, please contact the Business Office.


Please note:
  • If you would like to start making payments towards the 2021-22 tuition, please send your checks to the Business Office with your family ID#.
  • $100 a week late fee will be applied for TUITION received after 3:00 p.m. on 4/30/2021
  • Tuition Loans and Tuition Assistance applications are available under the Admissions tab on our website. 
  • Due date for Tuition Loans is on April 1, 2021

Summer Enrichment Program
Children 3 years old through 8th grade are invited to the StJPII Summer Enrichment Program (SEP), June 7-25 from 9:30-2:30, where we emphasize hands-on exploration in a fun, stimulating, and supportive environment. The program features small class sizes and is taught by highly-qualified teachers. (Before and aftercare is available too.)

The early registration deadline is April 9, after which date the registration fee increases. Sibling discounts are also available. For more information and to register, click the button below or contact SEP Director Kim McCurry.
Picture Day is Coming
Tomorrow, March 24 is Casual Picture Day for all students. Students may wear school-appropriate free dress day clothing. Check the Parent Student Handbook for free dress guidelines. Order forms for Casual Picture Day were sent home with students on Wednesday, March 10. Please make sure to return the order form with your payment by tomorrow if you are purchasing a picture package with cash or check. You may also purchase picture packages online.

Full Dress Uniform picture packets from our February 25 picture day will be going home with your child in their Tuesday folder today, March 23.
Nails Tails and Tennis Fundraiser
Please support the 8th Grade fundraiser! Students may buy a pass for only $5 to wear nail polish, untucked shirts, and any color tennis shoes. The pass will be valid on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Please download the flyer and turn it in to your homeroom teacher or the front office by Thursday, April 1st. There must be ONE form per student!
Communications and Events around StJPII
Movie on the Plaza - Tickets On Sale Now
Our family event, Movie on the Plaza, will be happening soon! Buy your tickets NOW for this fun event, which will be on the athletic field on April 9th. Tickets are only $15 per family, and will be limited to 100 families, so don't delay! We will have a giant screen playing a family-friendly favorite for all to enjoy! Families will be spaced out on the field to ensure social distancing and everyone must wear a mask. We encourage you to bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and have a great time with our community! We will have a food truck in the parking lot too! The PTO will also sell concessions, Spirit Store items, and Fun in the Sun t-shirts. We can't wait to enjoy a night together under the stars! Athletics
Middle school Athletics~
Our Spring sports teams are all off to a great start! Our Lady Saints Varsity Softball team and our boys Varsity Baseball teams are both heading into the home stretch!

Softball is at 6-2 while our baseball team has a 3-3 overall record. After this week we will hopefully head to the GHCAA Playoffs! Boys & Girls Lacrosse have been practicing for a solid month now and will start their games within the next week, so be sure to check out the athletic calendar and come watch some Lacrosse! Soccer kicks off today with both JV & Varsity traveling to The Regis School.

The Saints T&F finally had their first competition at Strake Jesuit on April 13. The athletes did very well in their respective events. Below are the top 5 runners up.

Community News
Congratulations to the 8th grade Troop 20000 girls, Hannah Nehme, Jenna Beyer and Katerina Escobar, for achieving the Girl Scouts Silver Award, the highest award a Cadette can receive. The girls' project involves fundraising, planning, building, installing and maintaining a sharing library in a recovering community that flooded.
