We are closely monitoring Hurricane Isaias. In preparation of a major storm event we would appreciate your help as follows:

  • Try to report all claims via the agency portal at www.loudoun.britecorepro.com for prompt assignment to an adjuster.
  • Remind policyholders they have an obligation to protect their property from further damage. Insured does not have to wait on the adjuster for emergency repairs, tree removal or tarping. Advise the Insured to take photos prior to getting repairs completed if possible.
  • There is good info on our website regarding Tree Removal and Sewer/Drain Backup. It may be a good idea to print off and use in your discussions
  • Food spoilage form is provided on the website. Please feel free to send a copy to Insureds to complete and direct them to return the form to you or our office.
  • Manage people’s expectations – not everyone will be contacted immediately – contact for minor claims may be delayed due to high volume.
  • For claims such as food spoilage; trees on fences or driveways or surge losses – please obtain an email address if available for speedier service.
  • If Insured has already had the work completed or obtained an estimate for repairs, please have the Insured submit the documentation to the agency or our office for review.
  • Advise Insured to save ALL receipts, bill, invoices, etc. pertaining to their claim.
