A Message from the Superintendent

Dear Lovejoy Community:

I hope this finds you and your family settling into the new school year.

The first football game of the season will be held on Saturday, September 1st as the Lovejoy Leopards play Frisco Heritage in the Tom Landry Classic. Proceeds from this game will go towards scholarships for students at Lovejoy High School. We hope you will join us.  Click here for details.

Whether you attend to watch the football game, admire the talent of the Majestics, enjoy the spirit of the cheerleading squad, or support the LHS Marching Band and Color Guard, you will enjoy the success of the talented young men and women who make up Lovejoy High School.

Lovejoy ISD will be closed on Monday, September 3rd in observance of Labor Day. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable long weekend and look forward to welcoming your students back to school on Tuesday, September 4th.
Tutoring for Students

As you know, our Lovejoy teachers provide tutoring for students as the need arises. However, there are times you may decide an outside tutor would be helpful for your child. I am pleased to announce that Lovejoy ISD and Tutoring 101 has formed a relationship to bring Tutoring 101 services to Lovejoy High School. Tutoring 101 will offer tutoring for K – 12 students in any subject area needed. This partnership is a revenue generating relationship for Lovejoy as we have signed a revenue sharing model. Click here: Tutoring 101@Lovejoy High School for additional information.
