Fifth Annual BSS Week of Holiday Giving!

Our annual BSS Gives Back concluded this week, and we hope you've enjoyed seeing a glimpse into what our students experienced!

Cards were made by our Little Knights, first, and second graders for Parishioners at Blessed Sacrament Church unable to attend the Advent and Christmas celebrations.

Kindergarten students prepared colorful placemats for delivery throughout the holidays by Meals on Wheels.

Books were collected by our 8th graders for Family Abuse Services.

Donations were brought in by fifth, sixth, and seventh graders for families who will soon transition from the Allied Shelter. Families will receive a "new home starter kit" filled with items like hand soap, dish soap, dish towels, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc to take into their new homes!

Our third grade students baked homemade cookies and delivered the treats downtown to our local fire and police station.

Neighbors along Hillcrest Avenue were given goodie bags from our fourth graders. Our way of saying thanks for their patience as we continue to grow!

BSS supported the Salvation Army when NJHS and other students rang the bell each day leading up to the Week of Giving. Our students rang the bell for 12 shifts outside the Harris Teeter in Burlington.

Our school wide Christmas Cheer project led by NJHS wraps up next week with gift delivery taking place next week for two families.

Each class participated in a special way and seeing the excitement as our students prepared their gifts from the heart has certainly put all of us in the Christmas spirit! It's a GREAT day to be a Knight!

Thank you to all of the parents and grandparents that volunteered their time! Many local families will have a brighter Christmas thanks to you and our students.

Volunteer!

In order to keep our tuition rates low while still delivering a quality education to our students, we depend upon an incredible level of assistance from our parent volunteers. We need your help.

In an effort to engage more families in volunteerism at BSS, we are requesting that each family with a child or children in grades K thru 8th provide a minimum of 20 hours of service to Blessed Sacrament School. Any adult family member qualifies for service hours.

Please prayerfully consider signing up for one or more of the volunteer opportunities we have available. For a description of the volunteer positions, and to sign up, CLICK HERE .

Thank you for your support!
