"The next DA has the power to save our youth."
In partnership with Boston youth programs such as
I Have A Future and
Teens Leading The Way, the
Boston Student Advisory Council helped facilitate the Suffolk County District Attorney Youth Forum at SEIU 32BJ in downtown Boston on Thursday, August 9th.
In addition to
educating the voting public on the first contested Suffolk County DA race in 16 years,
youth took this opportunity to
demand the next DA take the issues surrounding young people seriously
. These issues included
school policing, immigration and reinvestment
.
While Youth on Board doesn't endorse any particular candidate, we
encourage everyone to register to vote before the August 15th deadline
and then cast their vote in the general
election on November 6th
. To register to vote in Massachusetts, please
follow this link
and take an active role in this extremely important, historic election!
