Boston Youth demand action from next Suffolk County District Attorney
"The next DA has the power to save our youth."

In partnership with Boston youth programs such as I Have A Future and Teens Leading The Way, the Boston Student Advisory Council helped facilitate the Suffolk County District Attorney Youth Forum at SEIU 32BJ in downtown Boston on Thursday, August 9th.

In addition to educating the voting public on the first contested Suffolk County DA race in 16 years,  youth took this opportunity to demand the next DA take the issues surrounding young people seriously . These issues included school policing, immigration and reinvestment .

While Youth on Board doesn't endorse any particular candidate, we encourage everyone to register to vote before the August 15th deadline  and then cast their vote in the general  election on November 6th . To register to vote in Massachusetts, please  follow this link  and take an active role in this extremely important, historic election!

Young People Partner With Public Health Commission to Prioritize Youth
Mental health and community violence are two huge influencers on youth wellness, so BSAC teamed up with the Boston Public Health Commission to host a youth community meeting about both where young people could identify public health issues and propose solutions.

With our friends from Teen Empowerment, I Have A Future, and Sociedad Latina, BSAC youth leaders were able to survey over twenty youth to help guide BPHC's priorities in the year ahead to include youth voice and safety.
