Children's Events - September 2018
The library will be CLOSED Saturday, September 1 through Monday, September 3 for  Labor Day.

T he Library resumes school-year hours on Saturday, September 8th. School-year hours are as follows:

Monday-Thursday      9:00AM-9:00PM
Friday & Saturday     9:00 AM-5:00PM
Sunday                        2:00-5:00PM
 September Storytimes

Under Two and Tremendous Two Storytimes

September 11, 18, 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.

Tuesdays at 9:30-10:15 a.m.
Children up to 23 months old and their grown-ups are invited to rhyme, bounce, and read with other little ones and their caregivers.

Tuesdays at 11-11:45 a.m.
Children 24 to 36 months old and their grown-ups are invited to enjoy stories, songs, finger plays, and more to foster a love of books and early language development.

Registration is required and begins on Monday, August 27.

Lego Club

Thursday, September 13
2:30-3:30 p.m.

Youngsters ages 4 and up are invited to sharpen their Lego skills. Bring your imagination--the library has the Legos!
Ed the Music Man

Monday, Sept. 17, 
3:30-4:15 p.m.
 


Ed Morgan has delighted kids and grown ups alike with his interactive blend of original and traditional children's songs. Join the fun with this singing and dancing session for kids ages 1-99.
Family Games

Thursday, September 20, 
2:30-4 p.m.
 
The library's collection of games, including Monopoly, puzzles, card games, checkers, chess, and more, is at the disposal of library users ages 6 to 12 and their families. New games to the collection are Candy Land, Hoot Owl Hoot, and Race to the Treasure.

Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth, Early Man tells the story of Dug, along with sidekick Hognob, as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy to save their home. A monumental game of soccer ensues.

One adult must remain at the library with each family group for the duration of the program. The library is not open for other services.
