Dear Administrators and LIFE Moderators;
Since 1970 Marianist LIFE has provided parishes and high schools opportunities for small faith communities to form, grow, and flourish. Our annual summer program provides faith formation for high school students and their adult moderators. The students and moderators participate in a week-long experience of small faith communities, sacraments, prayer, leadership development, retreat and, social justice education.
To commemorate our 50th anniversary, we will host one national summer program in 2020, bringing together students from across the Province.
NATIONAL PROGRAM DATES
St. Mary's University - San Antonio, TX
Moderators: July 10 - 19, 2020
Students: July 13 - 19, 2020
Saturday, July 18, the day before program ends, will be a very unique day in that Marianist LIFE will join LIFE Alumni, the MLC-NA (Marianist Lay Communities of North America) Lay Assembly, and the greater Marianist Family for some key events:
- MLC-NA Keynote Speaker, Fr. Greg Boyle, SJ, founder of Homeboy Industries
- A day of service on campus for local San Antonio organizations
- 50th anniversary celebration, including a Mass and social
COST
$675.00 for Moderators (
adults must be at least 21 years old)
$525.00 per LIFEr (students must have completed at least their sophomore year)
Travel costs are the responsibility of the participant and/or institution.
Limited financial assistance is available; please contact National Coordinator.
All participants must be present for the duration of the program.
Moderators are expected to participate fully in Moderator AND Program days.
No late arrivals or early departures will be permitted.
Shared bedroom and bathroom/shower facilities are provided.
Participants must bring their own bedding, pillow, and towels.

Please forward the link of the registration forms to your moderators and LIFErs. The only required hard copy and signature is the Medication & Signature form, which must be printed, scanned, and emailed to Sierra Christian ([email protected]), OR mailed to The Marianist Center (1341 N Delaware Ave #301, Philadelphia, PA 19125).
