Labor of Love
Labor Day we celebrate the workforce and all we do to keep America moving forward. This Labor Day we wanted to acknowledge labors of love in our area.
Thanks to you, our customers, Countryside was able to present Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County with a check from Bonide for 50% of the purchases you made over Father's Day!
Pictured from left to right are Richard Harms, Owner Countryside Flower Shop, Nursery and Garden Center, Leslie Blake, Executive Director of BBBS McHenry County and Kerri Arthur, Countryside Garden Center Manager.

I can't help but mention...
Compare the planters with the previous photo to see how much they grew and filled in since their planting in spring!

Having some fun when the pots first arrived, before Kim and her crew began planting.

Pictured are Leslie Blake, Executive Director BBBS, Kim Hartmann, Countryside Landscape Designer, and Robin Doeden, Executive Director of The Community Foundation for McHenry County.

Thanks for your labor of love, everyday, throughout our community!

Senior Care Volunteer Network helps seniors stay independent  by connecting a number of  volunteers with seniors in need of a hand to help with running errands , getting chores finished, bringing them to appointments, or just to play a game of cards!

For years Countryside Flower Shop has been donating surplus, fresh flowers to Senior Care for them to gift bouquets to those they visit!

Thank you Senior Care for your labor of love and letting us be a part of brightening someones day!

Be sure to visit their booth at our 19th Annual Quilt Show and buy a chance to win their Raffle Quilt!

Talk about a labor of love - we are grateful for Jodee Kopfer, Countryside Flower Shop, Nursery and Garden Center Merchandiser.

Jodee has been with Countryside for more than 30 years. She labors over the product that comes in making it look magnificent and fun!

She has decked us out for Fall and Halloween and you know the Holidays are right around the corner...

Thank you to our Garden Center staff for unpacking, hooking and pricing hundreds of ornaments, decorations and all of our product year-round!
