During the season of Advent, we will be
taking a second collection at our masses to support
our newly opened Uganda Cabrinian Community located in Dzaipi, north of Uganda.
Uganda is a country that has accepted the greatest number of Refugees in the world. The Arua Diocese has settlements which are home to 1,200,000 refugees. The Uganda Cabrinian Community is providing education, child care, youth empowerment, women's promotion, pastoral and spiritual accompaniment to these refugees.
We appreciate any donation you can give the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart in their efforts to rebuild the lives of refugees and give them a safer future.
