MARKETSAFE® PROJECT REPORT
Since 2017, MSU has been home to a unique and one-of-a-kind intellectual property protection partnership. MSU Licensing has collaborated with the A-CAPP Center to use the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition’s MarketSafe® program to help protect MSU’s intellectual property.

The collaboration combines resources of multiple public and private entities to create tangible benefits for MSU as an institution, MSU students and Spartans all over the world. It allows MSU Licensing, through the work of A-CAPP student interns, to extend its brand protection efforts.

PUBLIC SERVICE CAMPAIGN
Counterfeit products and equipment like masks, gloves and testing kits are flooding into the US marketplace during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has created a campaign to inform opinion leaders and consumers about this issue. The A-CAPP Center is proud to support this campaign along with many other private sector companies to assist in getting the message out there.
