The Center for the Women of New York is pleased to invite you to our 34th Anniversary Gala. The gala will take place virtually via Zoom this year on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 7:00 - 8:30 PM.
At the gala, we celebrate women and men in leadership who are committed to women’s rights and who have made significant contributions to our community and will include musical performances.
Center for the Women of New York advocates for women’s rights and full equality for women. Since 1987 CWNY empowers women to reach their full potential by offering services that provide the skills, information, and support they need to address economic, emotional, and legal challenges.
CWNY offers workshops and classes on topics that impact women such as domestic violence, trafficking awareness, health and wellness, career advancement, financial literacy, art therapy, sustainable gardening, and English as a second language. CWNY also provides support services such as caregiver support group, women in crisis support group, legal assistance and referrals.
