Our first Open Lab in quite some time was a success! Our next Open Lab will focus on
data access and using data for continuous quality improvement. Trust staff will be available to work with your program staff to ensure that your staff understands what data is available, how to access your data and how to use it to improve your program. This opportunity is by invitation only and your program manager sent you a link to register through Trust Academy. Summer-Only Programs Provider Meeting *
The Children's Trust will host a Provider Meeting for all Youth Development (YD) Trust-funded providers that have summer-only services. Programs will be oriented to YD requirements and best practices for program implementation. This is an opportunity to get your questions answered on data, training requirements, program metrics and more.
The Provider Meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. and goes to noon on Tuesday, March 10, with breakout sessions for YD K-5 & YD 6-12 beginning at 10 a.m. Please ensure that key management staff who are essential to summer services attend as well as individuals that programs deem necessary. This opportunity is by invitation only and invited agencies will receive an email with a link to register through
Trust Academy. If you feel your agency would benefit from this opportunity and were not contacted please reach out to your program manager.

2020-21 Renewals Timeline and Data Entry Reminder *
Attention all Trust-funded providers! Please note the renewals of our major initiatives will start in March and end in May 2020. Your mid-year performance will be used as basis for renewals. For example, we will use services through January 31, 2020, for contracts with a start date of August 1, 2019. Therefore, it is imperative that your data is up to date in SAMIS. If you are experiencing any issues with data entry, please inform your program manager asap. As a reminder, the due date for services provided through January 31, is February 18. Data for our board resolutions will be pulled on February 28. Any data entered beyond that date will not be taken into consideration for renewals.

Innovation Grant Opportunity to Open in February *
The Children's Trust is looking to fund several community partners who have innovative ideas that address an existing community need. The Innovation Fund gives community partners an avenue to test new ideas that could lead to effective and equitable opportunities for vulnerable populations of children to thrive. By offering community partners the opportunity to identify an issue, develop a potential solution and implement a strategy, The Children’s Trust hopes to build on existing community assets, encourage collaboration and support the sustainability of successful projects.

New Program for Youth Focused on Growing Entrepreneurial Skills *
The Florida Afterschool Network and its partners are sponsoring a new program for youth 14-18 to learn how to transform an idea into a viable business.
GATOR PIT, as the program is called, is a

The Research and Evaluation Analyst is a critical member of both cross- and inter-departmental teams at The Children’s Trust who engages in proactive problem-solving and critical thinking/analysis related to the design and effectiveness of various child, youth and family services. Primary responsibilities include: contributing to effective program and systems designs for The Children’s Trust’s priority investments in child, youth and family services; designing and maintaining sound data collection tools and systems to capture meaningful program, operational and community data in a user-friendly, accessible manner; and analyzing and making meaning from available data to tell our stories using compelling visualizations and reports with an intentional focus on the specific audience and purpose of the message.

First Star Program Coordinator
First Star Academy at the University of Miami is looking for two Program Coordinators for its six-week Summer Residential program to serve as part of the summer leadership team, along with the Program Director and Assistant Program Director. Applicants must have a clinical or other relevant background to assist the team in implementing positive behavioral and trauma-informed strategies with youth participants, as well as serve as a liaison to caregivers and child welfare stakeholders. Medical Assistant
The Center for Family and Child Enrichment, Inc. is looking for a medical assistant who will process patients using the electronic medical records (EMR) system and assist with the billing and coding. The position will also be responsible for taking vitals, medical histories, administering immunizations, collecting diagnostic data, and maintaining exam rooms in a pediatric clinic. The medical assistant will also answer phones, schedule appointments, participate in marketing activities and perform general clerical duties.
Targeted Case Manager - Certified in Behavioral Health
A targeted case Manager is sought with a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related behavioral science discipline. The candidate must have TCM Certification, a minimum of one-year experience working with emotionally disturbed children, ability to balance competing priorities and make independent judgments and decisions, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including presentation skills, and access to a well maintained vehicle, valid auto insurance, and a current valid driver license.
