Shifting into an autumn rhythm ...
This time of year the pace is both slowing down and picking up in Sonoma County, depending on where you are and what you're doing.  Things are still busy, but where and how it's busy changes as autumn approaches.

Students are going back to school, so fewer families are visiting, but the folks who prefer to avoid the summertime crowds plan their Wine Country getaways for after Labor Day.

And it's harvest time, so everything is ramping up in the vineyards, orchards, and farms that are such a vital part of our region.

Harvest festivals and dinners abound  , and our calendar remains full with nearly 500 events listed for the next two months.  A few highlights are listed below, and y ou can view our complete calendar at  sonomacounty.com/events

And d on't forget to check our listings of all the wonderful things to do in Sonoma County at sonomacounty.com/things-to-do .
Whoever you are and whatever you do, we hope the fall brings you a full and rich harvest, and we thank you for all you do to welcome folks to our beautiful county.
Cheers,
Tina Luster
