Site Visits in Memphis, TN memphis

The Dispensary of Hope's COO, Josh Kravitz and Network Operations Manager, Logan White had the opportunity to visit several of our dedicated network partners in Memphis, TN. The Memphis visits began by visiting Regional One Hospital Pharmacy. Since this is the only county hospital in Memphis, they see high volumes of patients and do a great job of capturing self-pay patients at discharge as well as providing refills for ongoing care. At only a few months in the Dispensary of Hope network, they are seeing success in developing their processes and beginning to serve patients with donated medication. We are thankful to be partnered with their team which includes Kay Ryan, D.Ph., and Daniel Riddle, D.Ph.!

Next on the agenda was visiting with longtime friends of the Dispensary of Hope, Baptist Memorial Hospital. They serve patients at the Walnut Grove Plaza Pharmacy and have recently extended their reach to serve after hours by adding a Dispensary of Hope subscription for their Emergency Department Pharmacy. This ED Pharmacy is open from 2pm to 12am, 7 days a week and staff are excited to help their hospital lower ED readmissions by providing much needed medication to those in need. We would like to acknowledge the hard work of team members Meridith Schiel, Pharmacist in Charge at Plaza Pharmacy, Maureen Cooper, Outpatient Pharmacy Manager, Dennis Roberts, Director of Pharmacy, and Lindsay Jenkins, Pharmacist in Charge at ED Pharmacy. Thank you for all you do in Memphis, TN!
