April Nutrition Tip
To set yourself up for success, plan a healthy diet as a number of small, manageable steps rather than one big, drastic change.

Small Changes Matter
  • Simplify. Instead of being concerned about counting calories or measuring portion sizes, think of your diet in terms of color, variety, and freshness.
  • Focus on finding foods you love and easy to use recipes.
  • Start slowly and make changes to your eating habits over time, instead of trying to change everything overnight.
  • Drink water. Water is one of the central components of our diet. Dehydration causes tiredness, low-energy and headaches. Thirst is often mistaken for hunger.
  • Small changes matter. Don't let missteps derail you. Every healthy food choice you make counts!
