We have held three virtual College Acceptance Celebrations since January 2021. Watch earlier celebrations of seniors' college acceptances on YouTube below and save the date for our final celebration of the school year on April 22, 2021 at 6:00 PM.

Jericho Sims '17 Leads Texas Longhorns to First Big 12 Tournament Title
Congratulations to Cristo Rey alum Jericho Sims ’17 on his spectacular season with the University of Texas Longhorns. Jericho and the Longhorns finished the season with a 19 – 8 record, good enough for third best in the Big 12. Perhaps Jericho’s biggest on court accomplishment while at Texas was the Longhorn’s Big 12 Tournament Championship run this year where they won Texas’s first ever Big 12 Championship. Individually Jericho shined on the court as well, posting averages of 9.2 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game.

Whether he is on or off the court, Jericho has continued to make the Cristo Rey community proud. He is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in African & African Diaspora Studies and minoring in Anthropology. He's an avid reader, deep thinker and an even better person than he is a basketball player. Congratulations on your outstanding season, Jericho, we can’t wait to see what you do next!

Mitzari was exuberant when she spoke about the women leaders she met on Capitol Hill, her new networking skills, and knowledge of public policy. She credits the Corporate Work Study Program for giving her the foundation and skills to launch into the next chapter of her life.

Way to "go and set the world on fire," Mitzari!

Congratulations to Board Member, Emma Gergen, for being selected as one of "40 Under 40" in our region by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Vice President at Carlson Private Capital Partners, Emma was recruited to join the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School board because of her commitment to education and expanding opportunities for women and people from culturally diverse populations in the finance industry. She is also a supervisor to a Cristo Rey student.

Emma will be featured, along with fellow honorees, in the April 23 "40 Under 40" Awards publication of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
Pathway to Success is Going Back to School!
Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is reimagining its seventh annual Pathway to Success event!

The Pathway to Success event has historically celebrated the successes of our students and graduates, as well as recognized benefactors and Corporate Work Study partners whose generosity and involvement in the school make a Cristo Rey education possible.

Last year, the event was held virtually due to the pandemic. This summer, we're hoping to host a COVID-19 compliant outdoor event and open house. Stay tuned for more details!

Support Cristo Rey's Resilience
The Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) is the cornerstone of what makes a Cristo Rey school unique. Due to the economic uncertainty caused by the global pandemic and its impact on CWSP, we anticipate a significant revenue shortfall over the next two years.

How you can help:
“Lent is a good time for sacrificing.
Let us deny ourselves something every day to help others.”
-Pope Francis

During Lent, we are called to seek God through prayer and scripture, to practice self-control through fasting, and to charitable action through almsgiving. Lent is an opportunity for us to reflect and re-engage in the commitment and expression of our faith.

Your support and belief in us and our mission is crucial as we adapt to the new realities and needs of students, families and Corporate Work Study Partners in an increasingly virtual world.

Funds raised during Lent will support our Resilience Fund.

Please consider a gift of $25, $50, $100 or $500.
