I hope you all had a great Easter weekend. After relaxing and reflection it is time to get back to work! After last week's call to action it came to my attention that many are still not confident in how to provide testimony. Thankfully we've got some guests this week who know this process inside and out!
On this weeks call we will have two parts. First, I welcome Deon Starnes, Chair of the Republican Party of Texas' (RPT) SREC committee on Election Integrity legislation. She will discuss the Election Integrity bills and redistricting process in detail. Then we will have Rachel Malone, Texas Director for Gun Owners of America and veteran of several legislative sessions, to talk about how to testify and answer questions on how to become your own lobbyist.
In case that wasn't enough we will be having what's becoming a regular conversations with State Representatives Stephanie Klick and Jacey Jetton. They'll be providing us the insider's update on the progress of this years legislative session.
A jam packed Friday but this legislative session is quickly coming to an end so we need to keep our feet on the gas!
