NEW SOCIAL WORK REGULATIONS!
Tip Sheet and Documentation Log Now Available

The Board of Social Work Examiners (Licensing Board) posted new Regulations on 9/17/18. They govern the practice of Social Work in the State of New Jersey.

To help you understand the new Regs, we've developed several resources including: 
  • A Tip Sheet about changes in the Regs. 
  • A Documentation Log for LSWs who are counting hours toward their LCSW.

Child Immigrant Crisis Toolkit

The United States is facing a massive influx of unaccompanied child immigrants from Central America. Many of these children and teenagers are fleeing deplorable conditions at home, including gang violence, crime and extreme poverty. Others are victims of drug traffickers and sex trafficking/sexual violence.

Social workers are on the front lines, helping to provide these often traumatized children with food, shelter and health and mental health care. Clinical Supervision webinar
3-Day Clinical Supervision Course 
(20 CEUs)

This course is for those who have held their LCSW for at least 3 years and who wish to supervise LSWs seeking their clinical hours. The course meets the NJ BSWE requirement for 20 continuing education credits related to supervision, and also includes 5 Ethics and 3 Social/Cultural Competence CEUs. This course is held at our NASW office in North Brunswick.

Cost: $350 for NASW members, $425 for non-members

NASW is seeking individuals who are visionaries and creative thinkers for the NASW Board of Directors and the National Committee on Nominations & Leadership Identification (NCNLI).
