THE HO-CHUNK EXPERIENCE
NEXT SESSION: November 15 
Student Program takes place during the school day. 

Community Program: 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm 
The Ho-Chunk Experience

 Jon Greendeer (Ho-Chunk) and other Ho-Chunk representatives, visit our School each month to share the Hocąk language, stories, culture and traditions with our students during the school day. In the evening, Jon will offer a Community Program for ICS families and community members. 
ROCK YOUR MOCS
November 16, 2018

National Rock Your Mocs Day is on Saturday, November 17 so we are going to celebrate here at ICS on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16. Students and staff are encouraged to wear their moccasins and be ready to have some fun!
Celebrating Our Native Veterans, Food Sovereignty & More 
November 12
Student Program takes place during the school day. 

George Martin (Ojibwe) and his family members will lead our Veterans Day Program here at the School and share knowledge about what it means to be Ogichida (warrior for the people) with students and staff during the school day. 

MIEC Teaching Lodge: Community Program,
5:30 pm to 8:30 pm  
The MIEC Teaching Lodge welcomes George Martin and his family who will share their perspectives about Native Veterans, Food Sovereignty and traditional knowledge. A Community Feast will be served. Please bring your Feast Bundles if you have them!
