Director's Note  
 
Halloween is upon us. Parties and treats are a big part of celebrating. In order to keep our students with severe allergies safe during these festivities, please be very careful about what you send to school.
 
 
Someone from your student's program will be communicating any program-specific Halloween events directly to you. Please note: MLN, Autism Secondary, and MAP HS will be celebrating a day early on Tuesday. These students should bring costumes on Tuesday, not Wednesday.  
 
Also, if your program or class has scheduled activities on Tuesday or Wednesday, your child will have an opportunity to change into their costumes so they should NOT arrive at school already wearing them. We ask that students NOT bring props that are pretend weapons (i.e. pretend sword for a pirate) with their costumes.
 
On Thursday, the Autism Program staff will sponsor its annual Haunted House for participating classrooms. (No  student costumes please.)
 
  
   

Our PTA Mixed Bags fundraiser has been extended. Orders will be accepted through Wednesday, October 31st. Please see the details below.

Please note that our complementary Music for Autism concert scheduled for Saturday, November 17th has a new start time of 1:30 p.m. This is a departure from our traditional morning time slot. I hope many of you can join this family event to enjoy the music and fun! Please see details and an RSVP link below. 
 
As we make final preparations for the Ivymount Gala at the National Cathedral this Saturday we are grateful for all of your help in putting this event together. This biennial fundraiser is a significant initiative for our school and we feel fortunate to have such an amazing team in place.
