Q: Are club contacts, coaches, and ALTS instructors recognized different in the USMS registration database?

A: Yes, and it's important to know how they are different. Each provides an essential function and plays an important role within our organization. Club contacts are identified as such during club or workout group registration and receive important information from USMS that relates specifically to clubs and workout groups. USMS-certified coaches and instructors do not receive information directed to the club contact unless they are one and the same. It's imperative club contacts share pertinent information with a club's coaches and instructors.

About U.S. Masters Swimming
U.S. Masters Swimming encourages adults to enjoy the health, fitness, and social benefits of swimming by providing more than 2,000 adult swimming programs and events across the country, including open water and pool competitions. USMS's 60,000 members range from age 18 to 99 and include swimmers of all ability levels.
