Update on the Republican National Convention

 From the Chairwoman

The energy is buzzing throughout the Carolinas and beyond as we continue to plan for the convention and recruit thousands of volunteers who are devoted to providing the best experience possible for all those who are attending. Our Charlotte team is working hard around the clock to ensure this is a historic convention that showcases the beautiful Queen City.

Since day one, it has been a priority and a core vision for the RNC’s Committee on Arrangements (COA) to maintain an active and engaged presence here in Charlotte. To bring this vision to life, the COA joined forces with the Charlotte Host Committee, and working alongside TreesCharlotte and Lending Tree, have invested in the Charlotte community with a goal of planting 2,020 trees in the year 2020. This service project will continue through the spring planting season as our team fans out across Charlotte’s schools, neighborhoods, and parks to meet our goal. This has been such an important way we have strengthened our relationship with residents in the Queen City, while leaving a gift for future generations. We can’t wait to keep you updated on all the projects we hope to accomplish by August.

February Jobs Report Smashes Expectations
President Trump is the jobs president.

The February jobs report, released on Friday, once again smashed expectations. In just two months over 500,000 jobs been added to the economy, topping what experts predicted for all of 2020. In February, 273,000 jobs were added to the economy. At least 100,000 jobs have been created in 35 of the 39 months since the President was elected. The unemployment rate remains at 3.5%, a 50 year low. In February, wages grew 3% year over year and for 19 consecutive months wages have risen at or faster than 3%. Americans are coming off the sidelines and back into the workforce as labor force participation is close to the highest level since mid-2013.
All Americans continue to thrive in President Trump’s booming economy.

No Democrat Can Beat President Trump At The Ballot Box
President Trump will defeat either Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders in November because he has a historic record of achievement to run on.

Thanks to the President's historic record of results, he will defeat either Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden on November 3, 2020. There is no denying states that voted on Super Tuesday have benefited from the pro-growth agenda of President Trump.

The Trump Administration’s Aggressive Response To Coronavirus
President Trump is putting the safety, security, and health of the American people first.
The American people can be proud President Trump has taken decisive action and enacted an unprecedented whole of government approach to mitigate the threat of the Coronavirus in the U.S. The threat to the average American remains low and officials are working to keep the risk low. But as the President has made clear, the safety, security, and health of the American people remains the Administration’s top priority. The President established the White House Task Force, led by Vice President Mike Pence, to aggressively respond to the threat of the Coronavirus.
In an effort to stop the spread of the virus, the White House declared a public health emergency, secured the border, and imposed travel restrictions. Just this week, President Trump met with the airline industry to help better combat the spread. He also met with leaders in the health care and pharmaceutical industries to discuss the status of vaccine development.
