HELP US MAKE A FLOWERING CROSS ON EASTER

Bring flowers and place them on our flowering cross outside the Sanctuary on Easter Sunday!

The Flowering of the Easter Cross is a celebration of the Resurrection of Christ. It transforms a symbol of death, darkness, hopelessness, and pain into something beautiful, new and alive.
We have erected a cross in the front of the church, and we invite individuals and families to come before or after the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services and stand before the cross to place a flower upon it and reflect on Christ and the resurrection. We ask that if you would like to participate, please bring a flower . . . or a bunch to place on the cross. We will have flowers available for anyone not able to bring one. We will have volunteers outside to assist you if you need help. If you are not attending worship, feel free to stop by St. John's anytime during Easter Sunday to add your flower to the cross and join in our celebration. The flower cross will be displayed all week for all to enjoy as a new symbol of new life.
