This Shabbat, we will welcome a special guest to our community!  Rebekah Kanefsky is the Director of Case Management at the Elayne and James Schoke Jewish Family Service of Fairfield County. Join us this Friday night at 7:30 to learn more about Schoke JFS's important work and how you can help them continue their mission of sustaining families and individuals through all of life's challenges and build strong, healthy communities.
Temple B'nai Chaim Congregational Meeting

At Temple B'nai Chaim, there are two Congregational meetings each year, held in November and May. This is your opportunity to hear what's going on, ask questions and get to know one another.

Social Action Movie Night
November 9 at 7:00 pm

TBC Social Action invites the congregation for a screening of the movie "Five Feet Apart", about a teenager living with Cystic Fibrosis. It is rated PG-13. We will provide snacks and drinks. Joining us for the film will be pediatric pulmonologist Dr. Hossein Sadeghi, MD and and Dr. Golnar Raissi, a board certified Naturopathic physician in pediatric pulmonology. They are the doctors behind CF Bridge of Hope.  WiAct helps support the patients who come for treatment by providing meals and rides. Please RSVP.

Interfaith Thanksgiving Service: A Night of Giving Thanks!
Monday, November 25, 7:00 pm at Temple B'nai Chaim

On November 25, people of all faiths and all backgrounds will gather together to offer gratitude for friendship and all the blessings in our lives.
Everyone- both in our congregation and in the larger community- is invited to this special experience!
Get ready for Thanksgiving by starting the week with thankfulness!

Plus: LIFT UP YOUR VOICE!   Everyone who is interested is invited to join our choir for the Thanksgiving Service.  Rehearsal will take place at TBC at 5:45 pm on November 25.

Don't Forget the Turnover Shop!  


Temple B'nai Chaim receives 60% of the proceeds from your donations to the Wilton Turnover Shop, a non-profit thrift shop located in the Village Market building in Wilton Center.

The Turnover shop is run entirely by volunteers and benefits the Wilton schools' PTA and local nursing and home care. If you are cleaning out your closets, the shop will accept seasonal clothing, house wares, small furniture and collectibles. For further information, please email [email protected].

It is traditional to light a memorial candle on the eve of the yahrzeit at home and to recite Kaddish when lighting the yahrzeit candle. It is also a custom to make donations in memory of loved ones around the time.
