“Lessons and Losses”
Rev. Jaimie Dingus
10:45 a.m.
A year ago today, we closed the doors of our church and went online for our first virtual service. After 52 Sundays of choosing love, safety, and commitment, we are here, holding our lessons and our losses so tenderly. In this service, we will reflect on this unprecedented year and hear from one another about the love that has held us close along the way.

This Sunday we begin our new monthly theme of COMMITMENT. We will explore what commitment means to Unitarian Universalists with the "4 C's of commitment"—curiosity, change, conscience, and compassion. Join us as we begin this exploration.
VIRTUUAL CYRE meets at 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m. Children, youth, and families are all invited!
YOUUTH Group (grades 7-12) meets 4:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
Zoom links will be shared via email and our CYRE Family Facebook group. Contact Erin at DRE@uuch.org for more information.

Annual Budget Drive
"The Light's Ahead—Let's Make it Brighter"
Throughout the month of March, a month themed around commitment, we are all invited to invest in the future of our congregation and the strength of our mission, by making our pledge for the 2021-2022 Church Year. This pledge represents our financial commitment and our covenantal commitment to the future of our Beloved Community. We know that in this next year, we will find a way to safely come back together, we will lean into the challenges and joys of hybrid church, and we will continue and expand the ministry we offer to ourselves and our larger community. This week you should have received a pledging packet in the mail that includes a letter from our minister, a reflection on where we have been and where we are going, and information on how you can give your money, your time, and your talent to UUCH. For more information, please contact Stewardship Chair Dan McKitrick at stewardship@uuch.org. And click here to make your pledge and fill out the time and talent survey online.

Share-The-Plate Week
Thru Saturday, March 13, our plate partner is Community Free Clinic of Huntsville, a public non-profit organization providing quality free healthcare, education, and medications to thousands of people in Madison County without health care benefits. The goals and objectives of the CFC are to improve the quality of life of those with few health options through medical treatment and health education. Local physicians donate their time to see patients who have no health insurance and who cannot otherwise afford to be seen by a doctor. The clinic is a volunteer-driven organization. A dispensary is located on-site where prescriptions are filled as needed for patients’ treatment. Nominated for STP by the Social Justice Committee.
We do not yet have a plate partner for April-June. Members and friends of the congregation may nominate future STP partners through the chair of a UUCH committee or directly to Social Justice. Each proposed partner should be a 501(c)(3) community service organization.

Like our other online and mobile giving options, this option is through Vanco, is secure, and has a good option for "plate" donations.
