First Session -- 1/15/20

First Session is an orientation to a business owner's lifelong learning journey. It is a valuable first step for small business owners and entrepreneurs, especially before meeting with one of our mentors. You will learn about SCORE and all our small business resources and services.  We will help you clarify why you are in or going into business, the nature of your capital and the role of your business plan.  Accounting and marketing concepts and their relationship are discussed.  Free!

SCORE Albuquerque helps small businesses grow from start-up through maturity by providing lifelong learning opportunities for business owners.  Clients develop their own path to small business success by accessing one-on-one mentoring, workshops, Q&A sessions, Business Owners Councils, and a national network of resources -- all at no- or low-cost.  Our team of experienced entrepreneurs, business owners, corporate executives and managers are trained, certified mentors who help clients gain clarity to take the next step. SCORE is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. In New Mexico, SCORE also has chapters in Santa Fe and Las Cruces.
