We are thrilled to perform and celebrate the conclusion of the first Dimensions Sciences COVID-19 Task Force scholarship cycle with a forum on challenges in STEM careers. This event will be held on Friday, August 14, from 9 am to 11 am EST, and each of the scholars will have the chance to speak briefly on the research they have done with this scholarship.

Ambassador Sally Cowal, Dimensions Sciences' newest board member and former US Ambassador to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, will deliver a keynote speech during the event. They will also have two panels with doctoral and postdoctoral fellows from the University of Connecticut and with technology entrepreneurs from DataSprints, a Brazilian startup.

During the event, you will hear a performance from Brazilian Voices trio.
Brazilian Voices is a volunteer-based women’s vocal ensemble that performs Brazilian music. The organization builds communities centered on Brazilian music by training singers from all around the world and performing at concerts in the US, Brazil, and internationally.

All are welcome to join in this special celebration of the seven scholars.
Dimensions Sciences has greatly enjoyed working with and learning from these talented young scientists, and we are certain they will go far in their careers. Congrats!
Register today to join us in learning more about their work as we send them off!
