Student Success Story
Alexander M. Wolf - Clovis Adult Education
|
In 2008, Alexander's struggles with anxiety prevented him from finishing high school. Many years passed by and he thought about going back to receive his high school diploma, but also knew that the right help and support would be necessary for success. In 2018, Alexander enrolled at Clovis Adult Education.
Alexander found the process very accommodating and was surprised by how many resources were available. Clovis Adult Education offered a variety of different options from traditional classes to online classes and GED testing.
Alexander states," The staff and counselors were very responsive to my needs. I would like to thank Crystal Rodriguez and the main office staff for their excellent service, and my teachers Debbie Penner and Cinda DeCordova for the encouragement and support. I also want to thank my Transition Counselor Pang Vangyi, who helped guide me towards my goals beyond high school, which included helping me enroll in college and further pursue education.
For everyone out there considering going back to finish high school, or obtaining their GED, or just seeking information and some direction, I recommend giving Clovis Adult Education a call. I'm very happy that I did, and I am now well on my way to a new chapter in furthering my education."
Alexander will attend Fresno City College in the Fall of 2018, majoring in Automotive Technology.
