With all three top three teams winning out over the course of the week, they each preserve their spots at the top of class AAAAAAA. Lassiter made their way through class AAAAAAA opponent Etowah. 
The Trojans ended the match with a clean sweep, increasing their win streak to seven since their loss against Harrison. East Coweta saw the biggest jump in the rankings, advancing from the seven spot to the fifth-ranked team. Strong wins against Heritage-Newnan and Whitewater were enough to thrust the team straight into the top-five. North Gwinnett's upcoming schedule features games against Allatoona and Hebron Christian. If the Bulldogs can eek out two wins against these capable opponents, they'll push right back into the top of the class.

op-ranked Alpharetta came out of the week with four consecutive wins, one of which came against Lambert. Their victory over the Longhorns may prove to be one of their toughest game on the season. They'll face off against Gainesville before going on a tough streak of games against South Forsyth, Greater Atlanta Christian and Pope. Skyrocketing into the top-five was Allatoona after defeating both Sequoyah and Sonoraville from class AAAAAAA. A recent loss to Harrison may have come as expected, but their upcoming match against North Gwinnett gives the Buccaneers another shot at taking down a top-dog.
An impressive stint against some strong out-of-state competition earned Starr's Mill a jump to the sixth-spot, besting South Carolina's Porter-Gaud 2-1. Also moving up was Locust Grove, who advanced from No. 8 to No. 5. Since their 2-0 loss to Apalachee late August, the Wildcats have gone on a seven-game win streak. Next week's contest against Union Grove will put up a true test for both of these teams. With 2-0 sweeps over Northside ad Northgate, McIntosh remains atop of the class. Chamblee's upcoming match against East Coweta gives them a chance to claim an impactful win and make a case for the top-spot in class AAAAA.
Blessed Trinity sits atop class AAAA for yet another week, but this week's game against class AAA first-ranked Pace Academy may cause a change in the tides. If Pace Academy pulls off the upset, St. Pius X will need to capitalize during their matchups against Mill Creek and Decatur to make a case for the top spot in the class. LaFayette currently holds down the six-spot, despite suffering a 2-0 loss to Coosa. Their demotion from the top-five made way for Heritage-Ringgold, who previously bested Coosa 2-0.
Entering into the class AAA top-ten is Morgan County, whose nine-spot is the highest rank they've seen this year. Recovering from back-to-back losses to Athens Academy and Oconee County, the Bulldogs took down East Jackson and Hart County 2-0. Previous eighth-ranked Sonoraville jumped up to the six-spot after stringing together a couple of strong wins against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe and Southeast Whitfield County. They'll get a chance to ascend further in their class curing this week's game against fifth-ranked Fannin County. Fannin County saw a pair of losses dealt to them by Ringgold and Heritage-Ringgold, enough to swap ranks with Lovett.
Coosa yielded four wins during this week's outings, the best coming against rival Armuchee who the Eagle's defeated 2-1. A pair of losses for Harlem, coming from Evans and the Academy of Richmond County, knocked them out of the top-three and made way for Pepperell. The new addition to the top-three will be tested during their upcoming match against top-ranked Coosa.
Mt. Paran Christian has yet to be beaten this season, making them the clear-cut number one in class A-Private. North Cobb Christian came to serve the Eagles their first loss of the season during last week's contest but were bested in an intense 3-2 match in favor of Mt. Paran. A 2-1 loss to Blessed Trinity keeps Hebron Christian from taking over, so they'll remain as the second-ranked team right above Calvary Day. The Lions will face off against North Gwinnett, Allatoona and Kennesaw Mountain in their upcoming matchups. While these games or a tough slew of matchups, they provide Hebron Christian with plenty of opportunity to pass up Mt. Paran on the rankings.

Hardaway shutout Fayette County 28-0 to improve to 2-0, and after opening the season with a 49-0 win over Kendrick is yet to give up a point heading into this week's region opener against Carver-Columbus. Northside-Columbus held off Spencer 20-19 and Westover jumped to a 14-6 halftime lead and rolled past Monroe 26-6.
